Drawing again!

Yes, messy colouring and all sorts of other bits that aren't right, but this once again represents experimenting with new software and trying to kerb my enthusiasm for detail. This is Manga Studio 5. Purchased to give me a bit of incentive to draw some things again, and it's amazing. Just brilliant. And amazing. Bit worried about bloat (a model poser??), but the basic tools are wonderful. Need to make a few tweaks, eg to the feathering on magic wand selection and will probably spend a few hours fiddling with the workspace and figuring out how to work it properly. The pens are better than ever and now (look!) it does colour incredibly well. It has a built in pixel edge brush to block colour - had to add these myself in ps and painter - and apparently it will fill to an anti-aliased line too, though this wasn't happening in this one. Expect I'll be making more of these in the coming days.

Ah. Feels like old times.
