Knew the gold trim was going to cause me trouble as soon as I saw it so opted against trying to paint this one because I'm a coward at heart. Ink is in Manga Studio then exported to Photoshop as it handles flat colouring better than Painter. Paint bucket filled areas then selected by colour, cut and pasted to a new layer with transparency locked for staying inside the lines. Then the most exciting bit: recolouring the ink. I have abandoned black, but probably not for long as I'm not convinced this looks better.
